Suggested Itinerary
Day-1: Arrival at Ahemdabad and relax at hotel
Upon arrival at Ahemdabad Airport for Classical Tour of Gujarat, our representative will greet and transfer you to the vehicle to leave for hotel. Rest of the day is free for independent activities. Return to the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Day-2: Ahemdabad full day sightseeing
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Ahemdabad wherein you will visit Sabarmati Ashram, which was built in the year 1915 and located at banks of the Sabarmati River. It was the house of Mahatma Gandhi till 1930 and was the inception point for famous Dandi March. Then you will visit AutoWorld Museum, which is one of the biggest and largest automobile collections in India. From motorcycles to vintage cars, the museum has more than 100 finest cars like Daimler, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Also visit Kankaria Lake, which was constructed in 15th century by Sultan Kutubuddin. After this, you will visit Modhera Sun Temple that has three prime chambers namely Sabha Mandap, Surya Kund and Guda Mandap. It is well-known for its structural design and attracts large number of tourists every year. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-3: Ahemdabad - Rajkot and sightseeing in Rajkot
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Rajkot. On arrival, check-in the hotel for short relax. Later you will visit Race Course that include the Baal Bhavan, Fun World, and Children's Traffic Park. Then visit Mahatma Gandhi High School, which was established in the year 1853. It has high standards of educational system and constructed in Gothic Norman structure. Also visit Rotary Midtown Dolls Museum that gives an insight on traditions and culture of the world through dolls. You will also see Kaba Gandhi No Delo - residence of Mahatma Gandhi during early years of life and derives the name from the father name of Mahatma Gandhi. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-4: Rajkot - Dwarka and sightseeing in Dwarka
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for Dwarka. After reaching this place, check-in the hotel for short relax. Later you will visit Dwarkadish Temple, which was constructed in the 16th century and also called as the Jagat Temple. It is a five storied temple built using limestone and sand. Then visit Gopi Talav, which is a small pond having a special importance in the Hindu mythology and believed to be the place where gopis came to see Lord Krishna. Also visit Nageshwara Jyotirlinga Temple, also known as Nagnath temple. It is a well-known Lord Shiva Shrine situated between Beyt Dwarka and Gomati Dwarka and island. This temple is one of 12th Jyotirlingas mentioned in the Shiva Purana. On completion of the sightseeing, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-5: Dwarka - Porbandar and sightseeing in Porbandar
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Porbandar. On arrival check-in the hotel for short relax. Later you will visit Kirti Mandir, which was built in 1936 AD by Maharaja Sayaji Rao III and also called as the "temple of fame". It consists of a spinning hall, a children's nursery and a prayer hall. Also visit Krishna-Sudama Temple dedicated to the devotee and childhood friend of Lord Krishna, Sudama. This temple was constructed from 1902 to 1907. It also has a maze in its premises; it is a common belief here that crossing the maze helps in removing all the sins. After this you will visit Sri Hari Mandir, also referred as Sandipani Vidyaniketan which was built in 1992. The temple has deities of Shri Veda, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Karunamayi Maa Goddess and various others. The deities are believed to be the incarnation of Pujya Bhaishri's faith. On completion of the sightseeing, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-6: Porbandar - Somnath - Junagadh
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Junagadh. En Route you will visit Somnath Mahadev Temple which was made 7 times and comprises of imposing architecture that include intricate carvings, silver doors, Nandi idol and a central shivalinga. After seeing this place, you will drive towards Junagadh and on arrival, check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-7: Junagadh sightseeing and drop at Ahemdabad airport
After having breakfast at the hotel, then you will go for sightseeing in Junagadh wherein you will visit Sakkarbag Zoo, which is third oldest zoo in India. It is known to breed Gir lions and has a museum that shows rare collection of ancient coins, Persian Sanskrit inscriptions, art furniture and stuffed animals. Then visit Moti Baug is a garden inside the campus of the Agricultural University of Junagadh. Also visit Uperkot fort which was originally built in 319 BC. You will enter the fort through a large gate and after turning left visit the Jama Masjid. Then visit Mahabat Maqbara, which is a typical palace-mausoleum of late 19th Century and famous for its intricate architecture. On completion of the sightseeing, you will be drive towards Ahemdabad. After reaching this place, you will be dropped at Ahemdabad airport to board your flight to Delhi and from there catch your international flight to home.
