Suggested Itinerary
Day-1: Arrival at Ahemdabad and relax at hotel
Upon arrival at Ahemdabad Airport for Glorious South Gujarat Tour, our representative will greet and transfer you to the vehicle to leave for hotel. Rest of the day is free for independent activities. Return to the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Day-2: Ahemdabad full day sightseeing
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Ahemdabad wherein you will visit Sabarmati Ashram, which was built in the year 1915 and located at banks of the Sabarmati River. It was the house of Mahatma Gandhi till 1930 and was the inception point for famous Dandi March. Then you will visit AutoWorld Museum, which is one of the biggest and largest automobile collections in India. From motorcycles to vintage cars, the museum has more than 100 finest cars like Daimler, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Also visit Kankaria Lake, which was constructed in 15th century by Sultan Kutubuddin. After this, you will visit Modhera Sun Temple that has three prime chambers namely Sabha Mandap, Surya Kund and Guda Mandap. It is well-known for its structural design and attracts large number of tourists every year. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-3: Ahemdabad - Pavagadh - Champaner - Vadodara
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Vadodara. En Route, you will explore Pavagadh wherein you will visit Kalikamata Temple, which is situated amid dense forest cover on a cliff. There are about 250 steps in this temple or you can also use the rope-way facility. Then you will drive towards Champaner to visit Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. s studded with forts with bastions starting from the hills of Pavagadh. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Vadodara. Check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-4: Vadodara - Sardar Sarovar - Surat
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Vadodara wherein you will visit Laxmi Vilas Palace which was constructed in the year 1890 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. The interiors of this palace are suggestive of a large European country house, and has many modern amenities. After this you will visit Nyaya Mandir that has the District Court of Vadodara city. It was constructed in the year 1896 and features an Indo-Saracenic architecture designed by the Madras architect Robert Fellowes Chisholm. Also visit Aurobindo Ashram served as the residence of Aurobindo Ghose during his stay in Baroda (1894 - 1906). On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Surat. En route you will visit Sardar Sarovar, which is a gravity dam on the Narmada river. The project took form in 1979 as part of a development scheme to increase irrigation and produce hydroelectricity. Then drive towards Surat and check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-5: Surat sightseeing and travel to Daman
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for sightseeing in Surat wherein you will visit Swaminarayan temple which belongs to the Swaminarayan Sect of Vaishnavism, wherein Swaminarayan or Sahajanand Swami is believed to be the incarnation of Narayana of Nara-Narayana. Then visit Dumas Beach, which has the palm and casuarinas fringed sea shores that are very popular among tourists. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Daman. Check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-6: Daman sightseeing and travel to Saputara
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Daman, wherein you will visit Church of Bom Jesus that was constructed in the year 1603. There are six statues portraying the Roman Church art and architecture. This church has a Portuguese architectural style, along with decorated interiors and a carved doorway. Then you will visit Jampore Beach, and Devka beach. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Saputara. Check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day-7: Saputara full day sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for sightseeing to visit Saputara Lake which is surrounded with greenery and famous for boating. Then you will visit Gira Falls is a serene waterfall that emerges from the Kapri Tributary, the falls drop into the Ambica River. Also visit Sunset Point which is popularly known as Gandhi Shikhar. It provides a beautiful view of the sunset, along with the Dang Forest and various tribal villages in the vicinity. Then you will explore Saputara Museum that has collections providing an insight into the lifestyle of the tribal population of the Dang District. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day:8- Drop at Ahemdabad airport
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for Ahemdabad. On arrival, you will be dropped at Ahemdabad airport to board your flight to Delhi and from there catch your international flight to home.
